Redefining expectations in subsea inspection

Proteus Subsea Inspection was founded to push the boundaries of what's possible when you put the right sensors, the right computing power, and genuine inspection expertise together in one system. HYDRA represents a step change in what a survey can deliver. Not an incremental improvement on existing methods, but a fundamentally different approach to capturing, analysing, and preserving subsea asset data. The goal is simple: to raise the standard of what the industry expects from an inspection.

The founder

Our founder is an IMCA-qualified commercial diver, CSWIP inspection engineer, and BINDT member with nearly 20 years of subsea inspection experience across the full range of offshore and subsea infrastructure including jackets, pipelines, FPSOs, mooring systems, and everything in between.

That experience is the foundation of every design decision in HYDRA. The sensor architecture, the report structure, the analysis methodology. Each reflects a specific problem encountered in the water and solved on the surface.
