Built for the full lifecycle of offshore infrastructure

Every survey produces a complete inspection record, automated analysis, and a permanent contribution to the asset's history.

Offshore

HYDRA deploys on any observation or work-class ROV. We provide the sensor package and topside compute. Your vessel, your ROV, our system.

Nearshore & Marina

For inshore and harbour work, Proteus provides the complete package: ROV, sensors, compute, and operator. Turnkey inspection, ready to deploy.

01 Jacket inspection

A complete structural survey in a single mobilisation.

HYDRA captures geometry, anode condition, marine growth loading, scour extent, and general visual condition simultaneously. Every parameter is measured, not estimated. The 3D digital twin provides a permanent spatial reference. Future surveys register to the same coordinate frame, making deterioration directly measurable rather than inferred from report comparison.

Delivered
  • Photogrammetric measurements
  • Volumetric CP assessment
  • Marine growth load calculation
  • Scour profile
  • Auto-generated inspection report
02 Cathodic protection

A complete picture of CP system health, building with every survey.

Anode remaining life calculations based on dimensional approximation introduce compounding error over successive surveys. HYDRA measures anode volume directly from the 3D mesh, producing a true remaining-mass figure tied to a precise structural position. Where complementary field gradient and contact potential readings are taken during the survey, full CP system assessment can be incorporated into the HYDRA report at structure level, not anode by anode. Over time, temporal assessments of overall system health become possible, moving CP management from reactive to predictive.

Delivered
  • True volumetric anode measurement
  • Structure-level CP system assessment
  • Survey-to-survey depletion tracking
  • Temporal system health trending
03 Scour monitoring

Quantified seabed profiles, survey to survey.

Scour progression is one of the clearest demonstrations of HYDRA's temporal value. Each survey produces a georeferenced seabed profile registered to the same structural coordinate frame. Progression rates become directly measurable, not a qualitative judgement call between two reports written by different people.

Delivered
  • Georeferenced seabed profile
  • Survey-to-survey volume change
  • Progression rate quantification
04 Mooring & chain

Photogrammetric wear measurement against original specification.

Chain wear assessment from visual inspection alone is inherently subjective. HYDRA's stereo mesh produces dimensional measurements of chain links, stud condition, and connection hardware, comparable directly against design drawings or previous surveys. Anomalies are flagged with position, measurement, and photographic evidence in the auto-generated report.

Delivered
  • Dimensional wear measurement
  • Comparison against design spec
  • Anomaly register with position data

Close-range stereo module required for chain-level measurement. Available as add-on deployment.

05 Nearshore & marina

The same analysis. Complete package. Ready to deploy.

For nearshore, harbour, and marina work, Proteus provides the full inspection service: ROV, HYDRA sensor suite, topside compute, and operator. No third-party ROV required. The same automated analysis covers berth structures, harbour piles, outfall surveys, coastal infrastructure, and mooring assessments, with dimensional measurements referenced against design specification and flagged anomalies captured in the auto-generated report.

Delivered
  • Berth and pile surveys
  • Outfall and culvert inspection
  • Coastal structure condition assessment
  • Mooring and chain geometry
  • Anomaly register with position data
